On Tuesday, November 26, 2019, the South Suburban Chicago Chapter donated 25 boxes of food, which included a turkey, to families of the Ford Heights Boys & Girls Club. Our amazing Teens helped load and distribute boxes. On Wednesday, November 27, 2019, donated food collected from our chapter families to the RESPOND NOW Agency of Chicago Heights. Amongst its many services, Respond Now assists families who experience food insecurity throughout the South Chicago Suburban communities. Special thank you to JJSSCC families-each group was responsible for 2 different items to donate and our great Foundation/Community Service Committee. In addition, special thanks to Covenant Church of Christ for the boxes of food.
